Team Teaching an Integrated Curriculum is designed to prepare basic skills and professional-technical instructor teams to work together to provide low skilled adults the basic and workforce skills they need to succeed along their chosen career pathways. Instructors’ collaboration entails communicating effectively to plan and deliver integrated curriculum, and to maintain a balanced, effective partnership.
By the end of the course, you will be able to plan an integrated course that reflects the priorities and strengths of both instructors; use varied team teaching approaches in the classroom, demonstrating collaboration and consideration of diverse perspectives; communicate effectively across differences that naturally arise in a working partnership; and improve your teaching by observing and reflecting on this shared experience with your colleague.

To successfully complete this course, the instructor will assess your work based on whether and to what extent you have completed the required assignments and postings in the following modules:
- Developing a Team: 20%
- Course Planning: 20%
- Integrating Instruction: 25%
- Addressing Challenges: 15%
- Reflection and Evaluation: 20%
You will have successfully completed the course if you score an 80% or above, and you will earn a Certificate of Completion from Accelerating Opportunity.
